MNADV offers individual trainings on a wide variety of topics in addition to our Comprehensive Domestic Violence Training. Listed below are training topics that can be requested from MNADV.

BIPOC affinity Group (1)

MNADV Advocates of Color Sanctuary (MACS)

Meet Every First Thursday of the Month at 4:00 pm

MNADV Advocates of Color Sanctuary (MACS):  This group is open to all who identify as Black, Indigenous, People of Color. Emerging advocates, mid-career advocates, students, interns, and all who support victim/survivors of Intimate Partner Violence (IPV) are welcome. This meeting is on the first Thursday of every month at 4PM.

We use the term “BIPOC” broadly to include folx who may identify as racially or ethnically marginalized. The purpose of this group is to create a brave space for radical selfcare, self-advocacy, and healing.

Clinical Directors Affinity Group

Meets Every Third Tuesday of the Month at 1:00 pm

MNADV Clinical Directors Affinity (MCDA):  This group is for clinicians and trauma therapists who manage, supervise, and develop policies and procedures at a Domestic Violence Program in Maryland.  The purpose of this group is to create a network for clinical directors or supervisors to connect, learn, and grow together.

MNADV Aspiring Allies

Wed. Sept. 13th, at 3:00 pm & Thurs. Sept. 14th, at 12:00 pm

The MNADV Aspiring Allies Group will host its introductory session on Wednesday, September 13th at 3pm and then repeated again on Thursday, September 14th at noon.

This group is open to all who identify as White/Caucasian and want to examine how white supremacy culture personally and professionally impacts our lives. Emerging advocates, mid-career advocates, students, interns, and all who support victim/survivors of Intimate Partner Violence (IPV) are welcome.

The purpose of this group is to identify ways we can dismantle racism in ourselves and the places we live and work as well as better support our colleagues of color in the IPV field.
