WHAT IS THE LAP 2.0 SUBSCRIPTION MODEL?
The Lethality Assessment Program (LAP) Maryland Model is a multi-prong validated tool used to assess the level of danger in an intimate partner relationship. This is used by first responders to assess the level of danger and trigger the LAP protocol.
Beginning in 2023, the Maryland Network Against Domestic Violence (MNADV) is launching an annual subscription service for its award-winning and research-based Lethality Assessment Program (LAP). This new subscription service will re-certify and train current LAP implementers. The Subscription Model will allow current implementers to receive ongoing training and technical assistance to continue to serve local communities with the most up-to-date version of the LAP tool, protocol, and curriculum. Subscribers will also have access to MNADV’s LAP Database powered by Forseti, eLearning site, and access to the national LAP newsletter.

Subscription Model for Current Implementers
Single Jurisdiction
Annual Subscription: $2,500
Any single jurisdiction that has already implemented the Maryland Model LAP as trained and recognized by MNADV. The single jurisdiction subscription includes all current implementing agencies in one jurisdiction.
Multi-Jurisdiction
Annual Subscription: $5,000
Any multi-jurisdictional project that has already implemented the Maryland Model LAP as trained and recognized by MNADV. The multi-jurisdictional subscription includes all current implementing agencies included in the current project. Any new expansion site will need approval by MNADV.
State Wide Implementation
Annual Subscription: $ 7,500
Any State that has already implemented the Maryland Model LAP as trained and recognized by MNADV. The Statewide subscription includes all current implementing agencies and the ability to expand to interested jurisdictions within your state. Any new expansion site will follow MNADV’s approval implementation process.
FAQ's for Current Implementers
Are all the agencies in my jurisdiction/multi jurisdiction/state covered under the subscription model?
Yes, all current agencies that have been trained and recognized by MNADV will have access to the benefits of the subscription model. If you would like to add new agencies, please consult with MNADV LAP staff to discuss expansion training and cost.
If I am a current implementer, what happens if I don’t pay for the annual subscription?
Without the annual subscription, a single jurisdiction/multi-jurisdiction/statewide project will not be recognized as an MNADV certified LAP Implementer. Certified implementers will have access to the newly revised LAP tool, updated training curriculum, and unlimited technical assistance.
