Mariesa Robinson, Prevention Coordinator, has been providing sexuality and healthy relationship education, research, and direct services to survivors of power-based violence for 8 years.  In her current role, Mariesa will aid the MNADV in its primary violence prevention efforts while providing technical assistance to MAIC and the DVFRT. Formerly, Mariesa worked as a retail-based sex educator, sexual violence researcher, and volunteer domestic violence advocate, as well as serving as a direct services intern for the DC-based nonprofit HIPS. She holds a Master of Public Policy-Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies degree from The George Washington University and a dual Bachelor of the Arts degree in Psychology and Sociology (gender studies minor) from Mercyhurst University.
